Board, Elections, and AGM

It comes but once a year, the chance to have your voice heard in the direction of your Credit Union.  Every adult member in good standing is eligible to cast a vote in support of the candidate he/she believes will best serve the interests of North Peace Savings and Credit Union (NPSCU).  Election results are announced at the Annual General Meeting.  Every director position is a three-year term.  NPSCU has nine board members.

As a member of NPSCU, we would like to invite you to consider standing in nomination for election to the Board of Directors.  To be eligible you must be a member in good standing and be at least 19 years of age.  Nomination kits are available at your branch.  The deadline to submit nominations is 14 days prior to the AGM.

Why vote?  As a NPSCU member, this is your opportunity to have a say in the direction of your credit union.  You should expect the credit union to meet your needs, and voting for Directors is one way to make your opinion count and your voice heard.

  • Voting is a unique advantage of credit union membership.  At NPSCU you are a member and a shareholder – you have a stake in our future.  NSPCU Directors play a significant role in the credit union and our community.  Choose someone you think will represent both in the best possible light.
  • As a member, you are empowered and encouraged to participate; this is what makes NSPCU unique.
