North Peace Savings & Credit Union

Scholarships

North Peace Savings and Credit Union offers annual bursaries to assist students graduating from schools in the communities we serve to further their education through a recognized college, university or vocational institute for a period of not less than one full academic year.

Applicants must submit a handwritten letter of 300 words or less to the Social Responsibility Committee stating why the bursary should be awarded to them. The closing date for submitting applications to the Social Responsibility Committee is May 1st.

The bursaries are available to high school students who are attending post secondary school and to post secondary students who are continuing their education. If you are interested in more information regarding North Peace Savings and Credit Union’s please click on this link.

In addition to our annual bursaries, North Peace Savings sponsors annual awards that are presented through Northern Lights College and the Northern Lights College Foundation and the Credit Union Foundation of British Columbia.

Lucille Sutherland Award

Award Description: The Credit Union Foundation of BC, in honor of Lucille Sutherland, annually offers bursaries to academic, technical, or vocational students with financial need.
Award Criteria: *student in academic, vocational, or technical program *Canadian citizen *resident of BC *financial need *enrolled full-time
