Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC)

A guaranteed investment works something like a savings account, but it offers higher interest.  It requires a minimum investment and pays a predetermined rate of interest for a stated term, anywhere from 30 days to 5 years.  At the end of the specified period, known as the maturity date, the amount invested, the principal plus interest, is available for you to reinvest or withdraw as you see fit.To see current rates click on the link below.
